Cold Weather Skin Care

Cold weather and changes in low levels of humidity cause skin problems such as dry skin, flaky skin and inflammation from dry air. Harsh winter winds and dry indoor heat can make the problem worse and lead to cracked and even bleeding skin. Not only is the air drier, but indoor heating further depletes the skin of moisture.
